The AVSREMOTETX404 is a robust waterproof remote that is compatible with some alarm models:Batteries: 2x CR1616Description: Waterproof rolling code 433Mhz remoteUsed for: S-Series range (S5, S4), A-Series range (A5, A4) and 24 volt S-Series range (24VS5)Alternative option for: 4601, 6000, 9000Note: not interchangeable with the AVSREMOTETX4043010Remote coding below:1. Ensure bonnet and boot are closed.2. Arm and then disarm the alarm/immobilizer (the LED light on the dash will go out).3. Turn the ignition to ON.4. Immediately press and hold the lock/unlock button on the original remote (this is thebutton used to arm/disarm the alarm).5. The siren will start beeping and the indicators will flash.6. As soon as the beeps start (and or the indicators start flashing) release the button on the original remote and immediately press and hold the lock/unlock button on the new remoteĀ until the siren stops beeping.Note: Make sure you release the original remote button before pushing the new onebecause the system will be unable to learn the new remote in if it receives both signals at theĀ same time. The alarm is only looking for new remotes while it is beeping/flashing.7. Turn the ignition off.8. The new remote is now coded in.9. Test both remotes operate the alarm.
